SOL bags are a perfect addition to any survival kit, bug-out-bag, or EDC kit. The Survivalist bag is ultralight, super small, stows completely flat, and can be folded to fit into the smallest of survival kits. It has a 1 liter capacity, is free-standing, and has a full zip top closure. Quick scoop handles are built into the top for easy carrying and rapid collection of water. Rigging holes have also been placed at each corner for attaching to gear. The 5 mil thickness and gusseted bottom allow the Survivalist bag to have a sturdy upright stance. Safe to use with water purification tablets and liquids such as chlorine and iodine. The full zip top design makes it perfect for use as a dry bag. Store electronics, documents, or other moisture sensitive items. In tests, no water leakage occurred at a 10ft water depth for 10 minutes. Add some air for canoe trips and this bag will keep your valuables afloat. More About SOL Bags Our plastic is completely food safe, water safe, odorless, and tasteless. Verified with laboratory testing, our plastic blend is completely non-toxic, so you don’t have to worry about harmful chemicals such as BPA, lead, mercury, or phthalates leaching into your drinking water. Laboratory testing has shown the SOL Water bags to be over 100% more efficient at treating contaminated water than conventional solar water treatment containers. The SOL logo printed on the inside of each bag works as a calibrated water cloudiness meter for effective solar water treatment. Our plastic is designed to withstand temperature extremes. The SOL bag can be used to hold boiling water for food preparation or disinfection. Water can also be frozen inside, which makes them great for use in ice chests to keep food cold for much longer than ice cubes while keeping your food dry.

About this item

For emergency water collection, storage, and solar disinfection.
